CDC’s COVID-19 Safety Regulations & Standards…
At CDC, we pride ourselves in being transparent and proactive with our customers and company safety standards. Which is why we are following Canadian Federal and Provincial guidelines and have implemented the following to prevent greater risk.
CDC has enhanced our maintenance requirements to include twice daily/nightly full sanitization/ with Hospital grade disinfecting agents to all interior surface area, handles, seats etc.. of all buses and equipment used. The disinfectant being used continuously combats germs/viruses for up to 24hrs after application on surfaces.
To allow for social distancing on buses we have been using larger capacity buses based on passenger and or crew size.
CDC has made available to all drivers masks and gloves to use. Drivers are also provided antibacterial wipes to periodically wipe down high traffic areas such as grab rails arm rests in between scheduled maintenances.
Drivers are now instructed to wear masks at all times while on duty and first ask passengers if they require assistance with luggage’s.
CDC has implemented the closing of specific seats on buses to help with social distancing measures.
We additionally have ensured all buses are equipped with Hand Sanitizer dispensers.
Currently we are asking all staff and drivers to avoid any close personal contact within the workplace and while in duty of working.
Should any staff become ill for any reason we have implemented a mandatory 2 weeks isolation period from work which must be followed by a doctors clearance letter. Equally CDC would notify clients immediately of any such incident.
